Repentance, Fasting & Prayer
Repentance, Fasting & Prayer bring the desired result to the cry of the people of God. In repentance we must remember all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Repent means to be very sorry for something bad you have done in the past and wish that you had not done it.
Fasting in simple terms is Detoxing your mind, spirit, and physical body of unhealthy or harmful deeds and thoughts, from both physical and spiritual foods, for a period to improve your health, mind, spirit, and body. To bring God’s peace of mind, thereby rid you of demonic deed, unhealthy thoughts and evil spirits.
Fasting
When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you, see Matthew 6:16-18 NIV.
Prayer is simple terms is to talk with God and telling Him about your problems and hear what He has to say unto you.
1 Kings 8:28 Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day
Isaiah 55:3 NIV: Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
